Alright so I’ve had a few people asking me about my setup and recording process, so here’s a video kinda explaining that. Sorry for the length but I just rambled and was so uncomfortable talking to a camera that I have a bunch of long awkward pauses. Which is why I have a bunch of random jerky cuts, but just think of it as one of those ridiculous vlogs people post all the time (like Philip Defranco or Shane Dawson). Also a cameo by my cat Skeeter. Enjoy
Ultimately everything I’ve learned about the production of these videos (and everything I TRIED to explain in this video) I learned from Cobus Potgieter’s DVD, so pick it up to learn more stuff and explain this stuff better than me. Also to support him cause he’s a GREAT musician and person who doesn’t get paid to make his great videos, so give him some money so he can eat!
The song in the background is “Colorful” by The Verve Pipe. It’s from (well I heard it from) the movie Rockstar. I recently got into this song but felt like it wouldn’t make that great of a drum cover video (but maybe sometime in the future I’ll make one anyway) so I thought I’d throw it in this one.
